1956 Black Ford Customline Fordomatic, Dual fuel.
This Australian production was fully restored in 2004.
Details of work carried out as follows: Complete engine rebuild, head conversion for unleaded fuel, new aircon compressor, 12 volt electrical, new radiator and thermo fan, electric fuel pump. Body: Bare metal strip, new floors and foot panels, doors rebuilt, general body rust repaired, 2 pack urethane paint, chrome work replated, suspension rebuilt, new coil springs. Interior: New door trims, front seats, carpets, wind lacing, all weather strips, door rubbers, CD player, auto antenna, new windscreen. Original head lining. Gas Conversion in 2007. Transmission rebuilt in 2008. Front disc brake conversion in 2010. Road registered, has had little use over last 3 years. Has rust on roof at screen pillars, lower rear LH fender, bubbling under paint on doors (not asessed), numerous paint chips. 57 Brake Parts - FOR SALE
I have for sale complete front brakes for a '57.
They are off mine when I converted to disc.
Included are the drums with bearings, backing plates with shoes, cylinders and hoses attached, master cylinder and power booster with mounting brackets.
There are also 5 wheels (57’s).
They were in good working order at the time of conversion.

PLATES FOR SALE
Even though I lost the Cuss in the bushfire, and nothing was salvageable, I had a set of personalised plates ready to put on the car when I got it on the road.
They are as follows, 1 X Normal Size (for rear), 1 x Slimline (for front).
VicRoads have replaced them, and the new ones have arrived.

As I will probably concentrate on getting a Star Model when we have rebuilt the house, the 54 plates will be of no use to me. Can you possibly forward this to the fraternity, and ask if anyone is interested in them?
